This is an Intermediate level contest
You need less than 27 [foto] trophy points AND less than 40 [fotob] medal points to enter.
Please check the FAQ for information on how to determine how many points you have.
Have you ever taken a photograph of a fabulous sports scene and wished you had captured the motion better?...
or
Have you ever taken a great photograph but been disappointed that the background was more in focus and more distracting that you had hoped?
or
Perhaps you wanted to create a certain mood that your wonderful photograph was just lacking.
Ah! Selective Blur to the rescue! Regular, Gaussian, Lens, Motion, Radial and any other blurring options in your photo-editing software may be just what you need to give your photo the extra little something it needs. SixerHoo's photo 'Reaching 2' is an excellent example of how blur can give a little bit of extra atmosphere to an otherwise static image.
In this contest, besides the regular photography rules you will only be allowed masking and blurring as extra options.
All images deemed subpar by the moderators (sloppy masking and blurring, bad composition, etc., ) will be disqualified so bring us only your very best.
Special Editing rules: This Intermediate contest will permit use of the Advanced post-processing allowances.
