Menacing, supernatural, old hag that does evil things to small children who do not go to bed early. In Brazil the cuco appears as a female alligator called 'cuca'. Cuca appears as the villain in some children books by Monteiro Lobato. Artists illustrating these books depicted the cuca as an anthropomorphic alligator. She is an allusion to coca the dragon, from the folklore of Portugal and Galicia.

PLEASE, PLEASE VIEW FULL B4 VOTE! LOT of DETAIL LOST

Curupira: a (male) jungle genie that protects the animals and the trees of the forests. It has red hair and backwards feet to confuse hunters.
Saci Perere: a mischievous single-legged black elf-like creature who is blamed as the culprit of anything that goes wrong at a farm. The Saci is known as a trickster and usually appears in farms inside wind swirls. If someone steals its red cap he'll exchange it for a favour.
At this scene we see a greed hunter trying to capture Sacis's hat at any cost. Curupira, the forest guardian, came in his rescue and will protect him even if it costs one of his hundred lives. The modern man is trying to kill and erase the centenial memories of our myths but we know that they are bigger than any ambition. They will live forever.

It was more difficult to find the SOURCES than I expected at first. Not my best image but no doubt it was fun.

Saci is a dark skinned, elf-like character who hops around on a single leg. He wreaks havoc wherever he goes and is often blamed when things go wrong around the house. He smokes a pipe and wears a magical red hat that enables him to disappear and reappear wherever he wishes. It's said that if you're able to steal his hat he'll grant you a wish as a trade for giving it back.
PS. I know the view from this window couldn't actually exist... I incorporated a little artistic license :D
Good luck to everyone!
