The ancients made this place, thousands of years ago, when their civilisation was on the brink of collapse. When war and greed had all but destroyed their homeworld, they built this monument and left it here that some remnant of them would survive the apocalypse they knew was on it's way. The ones they left behind, my ancestors, destroyed all knowledge of the science and technology they worshipped like a god. They chose the path of simplicity, to hunt and fish and farm the land. This way of life was passed down the generations.
