Side lighting provided dramatic darkness and light, somehow suggesting a moral dilemma or the weight of good vs. bad being felt by this figure. Great exercise!

Golden hour! The birds were flying to and from the rock in preparation for the evening the light was wonderful and lit the waves and rocks for this image just before it went behind the horizon.
