One of the most dramatic and lovely techniques for using light in an image is by lighting from the side. It brings out the details of texture and shape and provides dimension and depth to your subject by creating long shadows.
In this contest, you are to post your very best photos using this type of lighting, for that dramatic effect. Subject matter is up to you but the image must have the main or primary light coming from the side (or both sides) as in "On Their Sides" by sgatanstu.
You can use indoor or natural outdoor lighting.
HITLIST: Living creatures (plants, etc. are okay). Use living creatures in your photo and risk disqualification.
