CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a website template for Teaching Hospitals of Texas. Teaching Hospitals of Texas is a non-profit agency that provides health care to patients, and training to medical professionals in Texas. They are looking to have the look of their site modernized, and essentially re-skinned.
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $150.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- The existing logo MUST be used in the design (you can download logo files here). It can be placed anywhere and shrunk/expanded to fit your idea, but it does need to be included. The existing logo is found on the top left corner of their site.
- The client would like the page to be centered in a container 974px wide.
- Please use standard Lorem Ipsum in place of text. Per the content, it will essentially be the same as what is currently on the website. They will ultimately be adding more content as well, but have not written this copy yet. You are welcome to grab content from any of the public facing pages.
- The design can contain any number of colors. The client is open to color options. Keep in mind that their logo is red, white, and blue.
- Entries may contain gradients.
- The style must be corporate and clean looking. They are a non-profit agency with an agenda only to help people in the medical field. They want their site to look professional so that people understand they are committed to their role in helping them. The more professional they look, the more comfortable their users are coming to them with questions. They appeal to a broad range of medical professionals. Male and female, varying incomes, all within the state of Texas.
- Your design should be modern, corporate, clean, simple, legible, easy on the eyes, round-edged. The design should convey that they are dedicated to helping people in the medical industry and that they are a legitimate source of information for those medical professionals with questions.
- It would help if you could create a single sample table on the page, as they have tabular data displayed throughout the site.
- Any professional, modern, and clean font may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- The client prefers high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd).
- Before entering this contest you must read this thread.
GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your design as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
