Awesome movie! This was a great challenge idea, thanks! Please zoom in for detail.
My first attempt at a full colorization. I thought Julia Adams hair was going to be the toughest; but the creature actually took more work. The hard part was finding color reference pictures from that era to match my colors to. Working on this, I also learned that it's all in the details. White is not white, that's why the swimsuit is actually a very pale blue (almost white). If you have the time, please look at the full size. As always, critique is welcome.I can't quite put my finger on it; but this lacks the WOW effect. It is what it is, it's a learning experience, and where it lands in the voting is fine with me.
(almost) as fun as crayons.. :)
My first attempt at colorization. It was fun! It's still messy, especially around the edges. Any critiques would be very welcome!
First entry and first time colourising! Hope you like it :)Had to reduce the quality so it would upload, so hope it's not too bad!
My coloration ^^ done while watching "Lost"
First time colorizing an imagine, had to rush a bit near the end. I added a little blue to the creature to break-up the solid green.
