My intention here was to illustrate the old phrase "No man is an island" while including pins in the logo. The large central sphere indicates the individual and the smaller ones represent the many contacts to be made via Pindown.com.The multi-coloured pins in the upper right design were suggesting the varied interests of contacts but they may make the logo overly busy.Very fun to make :) Vector version available.MOD EDIT: I REMOVED THE OTHER DESIGN VARIATIONS AFTER THIS WON TO HELP THE CONTESTANTS USE THE CORRECT LOGO IN THE WEBDESIGN CONTEST.
Keeping it simple.
i think i like the top ones the best. vector files available. Please view full!
Working under the assupmtion that pindown.com is their site...Vector format, using Illustrator CS and using a standard royalty-free symbol for the push-pin. (Easily scalable, but .jpeg used for faster loading) Any and all criticisms always welcome.*Compression kills*
PinDown logo with 5 variations. Normal logo, pink logo, yellow logo, plain colors logo and b&w logo.
I´ve used a dog to work the concept of seek people(there´s a man looking up in the dog´s innerspace). The dog is also a hand picking a dot(internet)/selecting something.I´ve made some logos for specific countries (international support).

The binary suggests the procedure used to search, and how the company makes your match stand out, as shown with the one red detail.
Another exercise in simplicity. Created in Illustrator CS (vector) and touched up in PS7. Any changes can be made easily and then converted. Any and all criticisms always welcome. *Compression kills*
