I did an overlay and cropped and sharpened the painting in PSE8. This is as close to the original as I could get.

Possession

I suffer from Gender Dysphoria, the closest way to describe this is being possessed by part of yourself, which you constantly want to give in to, but which ultimately physically cant be. It curls around you always pulling you further in. It is not so much that I hate my physical form, but my brain (which according to the best scientific research on the condition) is female, and constantly yearns to feel the body that it is hardwired for. The drawing probably for me describes more than any words how this feels.
