This was a macro shot of a bee with it almost touching the lens. I didn't realize the detail until I got home and checked it out. You can see the sky reflected in his shiny body. If you view full you can see just how hairy his legs are, how stained-glass-windowlike are his wings and how furry his midsection is!

Winter's icy queen has loosened her grip, and early blossoms reach out from their cradles to touch the morning sun for the first time.
