Captain Izzard stood on the beach and pondered the irony of his situation...Three days before, his crew had mutinied and marooned him on this desert island. He heard their jeers as they sailed towards the horizon. They ignored the dark clouds that were gathering there. All through the night and the next day, a fierce gale buffeted the island. Towards sunset, the storm broke and Izzard stood on the beach, looking at the wreckage of his ship where it washed up onto the rocks. He was able to salvage much from the wreckage but never a living soul did he find. His crew's rebellion had saved his life. Captain Birdossa was known as the Sea Hawk. He was ruthless, had a love for apples and was always accompanied by his cheeky, pet monkey. The monkey thought of himself as a beloved companion. In truth, the captain kept him close as a potential meal should supplies run low.Sources
