Coffee cup, city, new flavors, fun...

Please critique.
I understand that the client requested the exclusion of a round cup, but i do feel that it was a crucial part to the design; the cup rim and the handle hint to the the letters "C" and "P" although they follow right to left. the main focus is of course the cup, separated to reveal the pause sign, allowing the mark to be more memorable and informative. Please view all slides.
I am willing to make changes.
