A combination of paintover, textures, photos and painting in Photoshop.
I created these two images separately and merged them to create the final.

Inspired by the child catcher in the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", who scared the life out of me when I was little.
Thanks to jagged-eye (DMac Studios) on DeviantArt for the awesome suit image .
I have a model release for the children

I'm embarassed to have to include my incredible horrible initial sketch with a bad guy I swear I didn't intend to look like Michael Jackson and a Wizard of Oz monkey (another source of childhood nightmares) I ended up scrapping.

Good luck to all my talented competitors!

One of the best (or worst?) villains in literature, Dracula begins as an old man then grows younger as he consumes more and more human blood. This shows him towards the end as both attractive and repellent, but without the usual bared fangs.

Maybe it was because, on the exact same night that Lex Luthor finally realised his lifelong ambition, by shooting Superman in the chest with a kryptonite bazooka, hell officially announced that there was no more room there. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that, when he fell off the mezzanine in the Tromaville Chemical plant, he landed in a vat of something viscous, green and faintly glowing. Or perhaps the fact that the Umbrella Corporation fished the body out, little more than 10 mins after it landed in there and whisked it off to a secret underground research facility, 7300 meters below the ground.

Maybe we'll never know but what we do know for certain is that headshots bounce off!

I read on the internet that Hellraiser, one of my favourite horror films, is to be remade, or reimagined, or rebooted, or, re whatever they call it. So I present my re...designed version of Pinhead.

Though, for the record, I personally think the original is absolutely perfect and the image is iconic in horror film history.

"Im not a criminal. Im not insane. Im merely creating the prop in which mankind will raise a new society. This poison i dilute in the city water system will kill only the weak. It does not distinguishes poor or rich, black or white, man or woman. It kills only the weak.
Do not fear, if strong you are. However, abandon your hopes, if you re not.
Dr. Veneno"
