The concept I came up with for the CastQ logo, revolves around the nature of actors for both Theater and Film. Primarily actors will speak lines, thus much of their acting is in their words or speech. Thus I felt it would be fitting to link the speech bubble with the Q in the logo.

This concept also has a secondary link, casting directors will "call" actors to audition. I don't mean call on the phone but more in film industry sense, like "casting call". The speech bubble helps represent this action as well.

I stuck to the colours suggested with one slight modification, as the colours have very fine gradients. Also the reflection is optional...
