Worth Outage - Day 2
I took the time for a foto session with the beautiful smaragd lizard in my neighbourhood. It demands a lot of time and patience but it is worth it. Made at least hundred pictures - you risk to see more of him as soon as the matching contest comes. P.S: As you can see from the beautiful colors it is a 'him' :-)
So, with no W1K to keep me indoors I actually had to grab my camera and head out on a wee trip. The place in this photo is only 8 miles from my house but I have never been there until today. So with a polariser attached to my wide angle zoom lens and B&W in mind I headed out. I quite like the result and I'm glad I had an excuse to go and explore... maybe Worth should go down more often? (joke!)Located on a hill near Ayr, South Ayrshire, the Barnweil Monument marks the spot where William Wallace (1274 - 1305) commanded a battle against the English. He trapped the English Army in Ayr and allegedly set all the barns in the surrounding area alight, encircling the enemy.
Worth Outage - Day 3
Not much else that could be done, really...
Worth outage - Day 1
So blue...
During the Great Worth Outage I went to the MFA in Boston to take pictures of the Chihuly glass exhibit. It was absolutely breathtaking.
Time to get out and get some fitness on!
