EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD MUST SOON COME TO AN END (I Cor. 7:29-31)
All it takes to defeat them is an Apple computer virus...
I am gobsmacked. I wrote this a couple months ago, and was inspired by the song "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues. The line "Queen of New York City" is in the song, and the song is about love, beauty, and the aftermath of a doomed relationship (at least, that's what it means to me). When I saw this photo, I couldn't believe how much it fit my idea of something that was once so beautiful, and which now lays in pieces, much as one's heart does after a breakup.First, it is peaceful, lovely, beautiful (set in a Lydian-Mixolydian scale). And then it is chaos, mayhem, destruction (indicated by the use of an octatonic scale). And finally, it is back to the peace and calm, but it is sadder, less beautiful, more melancholic, as the realization of apocalypse and death is reached. This was made using Sibelius Student and then converted to mp3. I claim full rights of the piece.
Hope you dig it.Since Meowza is the creator of the given picture, I thought I'd title this song accordingly. :D
Or May 21st, 2011... oh wait, we already missed it!
As if the one below wasn't enough...
Sometimes violent images can be seen in a much smoother way. This theme was to be called Get it while it's hot (guess why...) but unfortunately that title was already taken.
