Greenlands Flag

The flag of the self-proclaimed republic in the Maluku Islands (Indonesia).
The real meaning of the colors is this:
Blue, the color of the sea that brings us (the people) our food and it surrounds our islands.
White stands for peace, but also for our white beaches.
Green refers to the woods and also to the food.
Red, the color of blood. It refers to the ancestors from whom we come from.
I tried to express this in the picture.

An urban legend says that the croissant has been invented in Vienna after the turkish seige. The pastry mimicked the crescent of the Turkish flag.
Otherwise Turkey is also a famous holiday destination for its beaches.
