In this contest I have decided to create my own creature. With all the main attributes it is close to boggart("the boggart is described as being rather squat, hairy and smelly", quote from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boggart ). As in a legend, I decided not to call it any names, instead, I added a story that would describe the idea of the image.A King, a Crown and a SpiritOnce upon a time there lived a king. On one of his travels, he encountered a Spirit of the Forest, who promised to fulfill his three wishes. The king said: I desire great power; I want my wife to be the prettiest one in the World. And when he was asked to name the third wish, ambitions and lust for power clouded his mind, the king said: I want you, Spirit of the Forest, to be my slave forever. Enraged mighty soul convulsed its face, and disappeared with an uproar, leaving a sparkling crown beneath the ashes. The kingdom shattered, the people vanished, and the king himself was turned into creature - nor a man, nor a beast. The queen turned into a mouse, covering under the treasure that remained. Thus both were condemned to wander, not knowing their place, somewhere forgotten in the depths of the lost forest in search of themselves. These little creatures like to sneak into the house while the humans sleep. One of them always brings in critters and bugs. He loves to hear the sound of the shrill screams from the humans as they get a glimpse of his little gifts! The other one likes to cut things with his newly found scissors. They aren't really evil, just very annoying.Sources
Interesting note: The area I live in was hit with numerous storms and lost internet connection, and I was unable to download new stock images to work with. In the end, I used a background and model I'd downloaded for a previous contest but didn't use.
