For my multi-talented husband Tony (who I call Tone, thus the title, perfect for the theme!) with much love.I'm so thankful for this contest because it gave me the idea to take a great photo of my husband... which unfortunately is small, dark and low res... and pump it up! I super-sized it and then reworked the whole image using smudging and lots of paintover (no filters were used). Thanks to the League of Rock for the original photograph.SourcesGood luck to everyone!
The first idea was to make some sort of "Dancing in the rain" scene because rythm and music is so closely related to dancing for me. But I got stuck in that idea and decided to go fantasy (surpise,surprise!) Here is the sketch and the sources used sources
