This piece (a self portrait of me) is symbolic of my creative process as sometimes it can be frustrating to get an idea or concept out of your head and onto canvas, paper etc... Pretending my hand is a gun and the bright colors are symbolic of my imagination and creativity. I wanted to do something simple yet bold, aggressive and edgy. All comments are appreciated.

Drawn in ink, colored in PS

I looked into a mirror for the me part of the drawing, but I could only hold the pose for a while. All of the other stuff just made its way into the piece. The duck in the glass and the one by the girl duck is me, too. The hummingbird is trying to get sustenance from a skull, which is kind of lost love. I like drawing with pencil and colored pencil. The drawing is 18x24". Criticisms welcome.

This simple pencil drawing is a fun take on my style and personality. I wanted to depict myself as a hero/space explorer in kind of a comic style. here are a couple references I used:

One was from when I was a little heavier. I felt the "rounder" cheeks worked better in this style! lol ;)

Just plain ol #2 pencil on sketchbook paper. As usual all comments are appreciated.
