I tried to follow the whole briefing, with special attention to the type of product / service that would be represented by this symbol; the company's target customer, and the graphic style that the client would like to see applied. So I began to follow the hint to use the two "s's" in a way that would relate to the area of jewelry, and so I tested several situations in which the S, when duplicate and dragged to the side, would create a silhouette of a ring and also create a big S to reinforce the name of the company. After following this concept, I thought about which font i could use, to convey an elegance, refinement and extravagance feeling, and the color treatment that it should have, and the result is this. It works pretty well in both light and dark backgrounds, and it looks quite nice as a symbol embossed on a product.Image source: http://www.binbin.net/photos/hot-diamonds/luc/lucky-in-love-silver-charm.jpg
