In this free contest, your task is to create a funny and creative wedding invitation for Dan and Helen.
PRIZES
The entry that the client chooses will receive $50*.
Voting winner will receive 100 credits.
BACKGROUND
The client, Dan, would like to sponsor a contest to produce a wedding invitation for his engagement to his fiancée, Helen. They have looked at lots of commercial efforts and feel they are really boring. So they thought to tap into the creative minds at Worth1000 to find something original and funny to use as an invitation. Some examples Dan suggested were an aircraft safety card, a winning ticket or something badly translated into English.

Dan - 29, blonde, blue-eye'd and handsome
Works as an IT Securty specialist and loves Photoshop, Jujitsu and Helen.
Helen - 27 brown eye'd and gorgeous.
Works as a PR consultant and professional writer.
There will be around 150 people at the wedding.
The big day is 9th September 2004 at "Le Talbooth"

CLIENT RULES
- All you need is a great idea and a jpg image. They have a designer in their office who will transform the image into Quark and print it (x150) onto A6 sized cards - the reverse side of the invitation will contain most of the details (artist and his/her details will be included along bottom).
- Image quality is important, high-resolution (300dpi) entries would be preferable from a printing perspective, so please save as high a resolution a copy as possible in case your entry is picked. You don't need to actually upload the high res version of your entry (in fact, don’t) - just hang on to it and indicate whether or not you have it in your author comments.
- Clever and original humour would be great.
- Final print size will be A6 (148.5mm x 105mm) so plan accordingly.
- Text is not necessary but their names are Dan and Helen. So if you have a great idea and want to include text like "Guess what? Dan and Helen are getting hitched" then that's just fine.
- Any font can be used.
GENERAL RULES
- Please hang onto your high resolution photoshop file (.psd with layers intact) in case your logo is chosen.
- Please do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.

- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
