The original picture is a little goofy, but the girl on the left has the kind of sublime, side-glancing look that reminded me of a shy madonna. The original painting is the The Small Cowper Madonna by Raphael: http://www.nga.gov/cgi-bin/pimage?1199+0+1. I believe that my use of the image falls within the NGA's copyright guidelines ("personal, non-commercial").
