I couldn't have done it without the tutorial

The resolution is deliverately low for my first coloUrisation attempt.

I used 16 ish gradient layers - it would appear the more layers used, the more photorealistic it becomes.

A scene from one of the scariest movies ever... The Thing. Basically, they find this, uh thing in the ice (this scene) and it kills them all.

I was trying to go for as realistic a look as possible (as opposed to the look of a "colorized" photo from the time period). I hope you like it!
