Now, just in case you aren't familiar with the decade of the Valley Girl, think Devo, A Flock of Seagulls, Huey Lewis and the News, Miami Vice, Madonna wannabes, Blondie, Van Halen, Run DMC, Hammertime, Flashdance, fingerless gloves, knickers, jellies, clogs, parachute pants, painted on 501 jeans, bandanas tied around your thigh, super skinny ties, leg warmers, neon clothes and makeup, and feathered hairdos galore.
