I had too much time on my hand,
So I did this when I was free.

My first ever entry done for fun to give me serious sketching practice. I love this little guy, he's so cute.

I caught this contest late in the game so I didn't quite get to finish cleaning up these drawings, but this is a good example of my style anyway. I use big blocks of color instead of gradient fills, which I think is perfect for childrens' books. I've illustrated preschool lessons using "human-like" bugs like Willie previously, and I know this project would be a lot of fun for me. Hope you like it, and good luck!
