If you are not familiar with the original painting, Nighthawks, done by Edward Hopper in 1942, you can find a nice view of it here:

Please view the image in "full view" mode, as things like the billiard balls and other details don't look that great in the thumbnail format. The Green Bowler shufflebowl game that I added to the picture was manufactured between 1939-1941, so it probably could have found a place in the painting if Hopper had painted a bar instead of a cafe ;-)
