In my opinion, ST:TNG Wesley Crusher episodes were not the greatest of the series...
Todays lucritive 5-12 year old demographic is growing increasingly jaded and cynical, they demand a more realistic grim and gritty edu-tainment show and "Homicide: Life on the Sesame Street" gives it to them!
You know it had to happen. There aren't many units left to do a show about.
