I couldnt get this to scan very well...so sorry about the the nasty lines

My first attempt at a new coloring technique. I read about it in a book I spotted at an art store using layers of black ink, color washes (prismacolor markers) and an overlay of colored pencils (prismacolor pencils). I used this as a reference.

This is my first try at this site, so I'm probably doing this wrong... Anyway, here's what I came up with!

Done with Deep Paint and Photoshop.

I did the line art in 15 minutes on the train from my house to work just for fun. When I was a kid I used to draw lions a lot so I became able to sketch them out really quick.

Drawn by hand, repaired in Paint Shop Pro :)
