Just single feather and some water.

I wanted to contrast the softness and warmth of a feather with the coldness of a robot.

A fantasy bird and his little feathery cousin. This looked great in just pencil, but I thought I would color it so I wouldn't get marked down :) :) Thanks, this was fuN!!

Thanks to my father for the reference photos he sent me from his birds. I thought it would be easy to achieve a feathered look. HAH! In the end I decided to fake it with blocks of solid color. If anyone has an easier way to make feathers let me know. Please view full cause compression did it's thing here.

I want to explain something, but I bet you already know all about usually hawk-headed gods. I don't even know what I'm talking about or where I am. I don't feel so good. I gotta take a liquidy sh... nevermind... This isn't that and I spelled a two letter name wrong because the letter 'Z' is cool. There is a feather though, and that's what counts... I guess.

I love griffons, they are so fun to draw. I am a little stuck on world of warcraft lately.. can you tell? I didn't color her because I think it looks really great in greyscale. Check out the full view. Thank you so much!!
