When I was a kid, my numerous injuries were always a source of great pride.

Made in psp using the paintbrush, and softening the strands afterwards.

My older neighbor Miss Mary Madeline was a fiercely proud woman. :)

I take pride in my New York heritage, and though I am heterosexual I take pride in humanity and equal rights.

How does this depict pride, you might ask. And I would tell you it's the first thing I ever drew that actually bears any resemblance to an actual human being, and I'm damn proud of that.
