I was looking for mushrooms to photograph, and found this instead. Tried several shutterspeeds to capture the movement of the water without getting too much blur.

This scene was surreal to me. Reminded me of some kind of outdoor chapel.

At 4000m (12000ft) there is not a soul to be seen, not a sound to be heard, just the sound of your own breathing, and the silent slush of your skis.

I was on a RIB on top of the Corryvreckan whirlpool taking this. It was a great day out and this photo was the perfect end to the day.
