I chose the square frame because it suited the photo.The inside frame I added opacity so it wouldn't interrupt the photo itself.View full to see how the light lit the lashes on the boy. Also like the silhouette in the middle of the boy and flower. The shapes of each resmble one another.
" ... to compliment a photograph." These words of the rules made me think about lines that were playing with the image, not only framing it. And here is Angela willing to go out of the frame to dare us. The portrait is made with window’s light and marking the levels in "white" for the skin and in "black" for the sweater, which is dark blue.
Same wedding as another picture, different way to fram ethe picture...
I felt that this simple frame emphasized the whale's tail and the ocean without detracting from the image.
