I've read the client presentation again and again.Entered their site and read some informations.Basicly 4 colors(not including black in version 1 and 2) equals the 4 sales/service centers throughout the United States and Canada.Spiral represents longevity and continuity.

Clean font to releve the fact that the client is serious and wellknown; symbol is a ink drop and kindly replace for the "o" letter.Also a gradient variation of the logo used on Letterheads in this presentation.

The logo represents a stylised sheet of paper thus comunicating the idea of printing and graphic art.The symbol also resembles a flying bird, representing the free nature of the company, being employee owned - for instance employees can purchase stocks and share the ownership of the company. This contributes to the motivation of the staff.Font used: Humanist
An important aspect of the new logo for Wikoff Color was flexibility. It had to be colorful and bold, but at the same time flexible enough to be used on different media. For example as signage at the company's main office. To add individuality, I decided to go with aa customized typeface. However, the stylised "W" symbol is strong enough to be used separately from the letterforms.
