To better understand this shot (and the title), you might want to know the story behind these two churches. Both churches are situated in our capital city - the dome belongs to a Roman Catholic church, while the tower belongs to an Anglican church. As you may notice, they are both almost equal in height. In fact the Anglican church was built after the Catholic one, and as a challenge to the Catholics, they made sure the tower was slighltly higher than the dome, thus achieving a better status. The Catholics, of course, didn't digest this too well, but weren't going to let them get along with it. They let the Anglicans finish off their tower, and once complete, they went up onto their dome and placed a large cross at the top (which can be seen in profile), high enough to actually beat the Anglican's structure in height by a few measures. It remains the higher of the two until today. You may also want to note the beautiful traditional 'galleries' which are made out of wood and decorate the front of most town houses. They are impressivly dwarved when compared to the two large structures behind them.I rarely ask to view full, but this one deserves it... :DAs always, comments are very welcome.
