This is my first entry on Worth1000.com. I did my best to incorporate the initials with a modern, edgy, artsy feel as the client requested. The initials were done with the Bergell font and arranged to fit together perfectly.

I picked a font that is a bit funky and stylish. I created the icon using the initials J and G (as requested by the client). The angular picture frame that surrounds the icon keeps the design hip and edgy ...hopefully :-D

Rather than clutter the presentation graphic with prepared images of business cards and embroidered polo shirts, I chose to show some of the versatility of the design. View the full size image to see a more clear representation. This logo is very flexible in terms of color, (I tested over 60 shades of blue & violet) and also works quite well in black and white. It should be very memorable with the logo, and the logotype alone is distinctive without being unreasonably clever. The outlined or filled versions would each work better for different applications, and should be useable interchangeably. I used a slightly different logotype with the filled in version to better balance the increased weight of the logo. The font is Bank Gothic Md BT.
