My first submission...
Depicting a "John McLane" type character rushing to stop a disaster but not making it in time (don't worry, the good guys will win in the end anyway).

Just trying something different. Started out with the snow effect but just wasn't quite satisfied so tried adding different effects. Turned out that adding a cloud layer with blending option Difference made all the difference.
