whilst this may look like a sunset, it's actually light pollution from a nearby town. the sun had set a good few hours before this 30sec exposure was made. the white dots in the sky? they're stars!

I got very lucky with this one.

150-second exposure a little over an hour after sunset.

Packed with swimmers during the day, the standing ripples in the stream and a setting planet now provide the only sign of activity. The water texture is much nicer in full view (76k) if you have time.

Cropped and resized to 1068x692.

EFL 35 mm; 18.5 seconds at f3.5

I entered a similar pic in an earlier contest, but this is a different photo from the same shoot. I tweaked the levels to make the background vanish, removed color. This waterfall is lit by a single floodlight.

15", F3.2, Adusted Levels with Photoshop.

Thirty-second exposure straight at the moon through tens of thousands of tiny, leafless branches. (Haven't forgotten the rule of thirds. The shot begged and I caved.) Please full view to see detail.
