I'm willing to improve.[/quote]ok well here is what i think you could work on just for future knowledge:
im not sure what you did to change the colour of the hair, but its not working. try using a softer and smaller brush along the edges, especially the hairline. maybe play with the opacity of the brush (that always gives me a lot more control on how strong the brush stroke is). the edges of her body need the same attention. the tattoo thing on her body is working until it reaches her belly button. if you darken that spot a little, it'll show the depth of the belly button instead of leaving it like her stomach is a flat painting. if she has any contour lines on her stomach, you might want to try darkening those as well to give it a little more definition. but just a little bit, too much will look funny.
doing everyting on its own separate layer (if you dont already) will help with controlling everything.

recolouring her hair should be done by selecting the hair only, and playing with the colour balance, brightness and contrast, and hue/saturation, or a colour brush with a layer effect or opacity change. remember, nothing is EVER pure black. always pick a colour from the environment to add into the hair, even if its a tiny amount. it'll help the relationship between object and environment, and keep the "real" factor. another note on environment: do the same to her skin. light from the cement pillars behind her would reflect leaving a subtle blue-grey tone on her shoulders, arm, and neck. remember, keep things subtle and well blended.
