So, I already liked W. Bouguereau's work. But now, after having tried to emulate (and perhaps bring his characters into the 21st century of pinupage :) ) his art, lighting and REALLY seeing his painting... Oh man! It's no wonder he's regarded by many as one of THE greats. I certainly am a huge fan and hope to one day see some of his paintings for real.Arsidubu, this one's for you, buddy. I kinda pictured you as the satyr. :)The original painting is [a href="http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/2938/nymphssatyr2cg.jpg"]here[/a].For details see the [a href="http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/3109/seductionbig4nm.jpg"]bigger version[/a]. And just for fun a [a href="http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/5670/seductionstrip6bf.jpg"]progress-strip[/a].
I scanned my drawing and then only used PS from there. I played with custom brushes for hours and ended coming up with some nice textures and leaves. Bouguereau Cupidon 1875
