It cost me quite some effort and even more sand to cover the flashlight against the back of the shell and keep it invisible. Beside general window light I also added a halogen lamp behind the "mini-beach".

This vase was backlit by sunlight comming in through the window and diffused using a white sheet to create a light box effect.The picture was then overexposed to avoid a sillouette effect and also to blow out detail in the cloth.Hope you like, comments appreciated.
