PLEASE VIEW IN FULL! This is a composition of 130 images (some of which are repeated) taken out of a collection of about 300 images all shot in one single day solely for this contest. I took all pictures last Friday (09/23/2005). I spent all day thinking in yellow and black. It started in the morning by taking most of the black cars in the roofed parking lot at my workplace. Cars are toys for grown-up. I also took some yellow cars too. After work my wife and I took the kids to the park in our bicycles and trailer. On the way to the park I took a picture of my wife's yellow shirt against the black pavement background while she was riding the bicycle. On the park I took the picture of my son with a black shirt going down a yellow slide. On the way back from the park I took the "WA" picture from the letters of SUBWAY sandwich store. Once home, I dressed my daughter in a yellow rain coat and took some pictures of her against a black background. I also told her to raise her arm and point so that I can use the black area for the lower eye edge of the smily face. As I played with my kids in the evening, I took pictures of every yellow toy that I found against either a yellow or a black background. Then once my kids went to sleep I arranged all the pictures and created the happy face that was in my mind. All in one day! I hope you like it as much as I did. Of course the main theme is TOYS. ENJOY!
