This Photo has not been cropped. No changes to this. I was about 2 feet away when I took this. Yes I jumped back after I took it. I thought I was going to get hit. It was also the first photo taken with my new camera. Canon Digital EOS
Canon 10D and a Tamron 28-200 zoom lens. Was very lucky to be able to stand so close to the action.

It's amazing how seriously these guys take their sport. Equally amazing is the lack of injuries. When they are fighting, it is full speed, and you don't want to be in the way!Peewee (on the right) is a fascinating character. Ex-military, 5 foot tall, with a tattoo in an ancient tongue that proclaims "Beware the Dwarves". He is as serious, and as deadly as he looks. He is as happy to walk into a knife fight in real life, as he is here on the medieval battle field.
This is really the right way up, I promise - look at the way the sunlight falls. This guy's riding was fantastic!
This motorcyclist was one of a few doing aerial tricks at the Extreme Sports Gravity Games. The sports action was awesome...!
These dragsters were doing 315MPH when I took this photo. Notice the rear tires disforming at these speeds.The car that has an oil fire actually won the race.
