CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for bemmu.com, a importer of Japanese manga.
The client is a new company located in Finland. The design will appear on bills, website, business cards, package labeling, the company's general logo.
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $100*.
- Second place winner chosen by the client will receive $50.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "bemmu.com". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
- The logo can contain any number of colors. Must include a black-and-white version for use in business cards, labels and bills.
- Entries may contain gradients.
- The logo style must be appealing to 12-24 year old's, most of the clients customers are girls but the logo should be acceptable to both genders. Think Japanese pop culture, cute but cool!
- Your logo should represent, "Oh yeah, Japan is so cool! I want to order every item in the web store!!".
- Here are two examples of the type of symbol the client is looking for, a silhouette of a pigtailed girl in a Japanese schoolgirl uniform (http://akibablog-plus2.on.arena.ne.jp/2005-04-11-6...), and one of the company's main products are magazines related to the fashion style called "Gothic & Lolita". A logo with a Gothic & Lolita (dark but cute) aspect could be great..
- No mecha may be used.
- You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
- Use any font except comic sans. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.

GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Please do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
