The hardware store, and the loft above it where we lived, are about 100 years old. It has history as a post office, a local telephone company, and rumors of being a communist hub.
I took this on New Year's Day in the '90s, but was it 1890 or the 1990? ;)(back in the old days you couldn't view full, but thanks to the wonders of modern technology, you can fully enjoy all that ol' time goodness)

This is my first entry.
All the old photos of town streets were empty of people, since the long exposures and slow film speeds meant that anything that moved in the frame just completely disappeared. Like magic...
