One day while I was working in my small photo restoring shop, a young lady stopped by with a photo of her great aunts band. She wanted me to repair the photo and add some color to it. She told me it was the only picture she had of the band, and was hoping I could help her. I took a look at it and said sure I can do it for you, so I took down her information. As she walked out the door, I put the photo aside to work on it that night. When 5:00 came I shut down the store, like I do every night. Then I go in the back to work . I finished one job I was restoring and then started on the old photo the young lady dropped off. I placed it in my scanner to scan it and opened photoshop ( the image editing software by Adobe that I use). When it popped up on my Mac I noticed something didn't look right, there was a haze or something maybe a stain on the left side of the picture. There were four ladies there, but i just couldn't make out what was on the left. I scanned it in again this time at 450 dpi.....I couldn't believe what I saw. Now it was as clear as day, there was another young lady in the picture, she had a saxophone in her hand. I took the photo out of the scanner to look at it and there were only four ladies in it, so I looked at my screen again and there she was. I don't know how this was happening. After an hour or so of looking at this picture and trying to figure out what the hell was going on, I called the owner of the photo to get some more info on the picture. I wanted to find out when and where it was taken and who the ladies were and stuff like that. She said the photo was taken in the 20's and all the girls in the photo were her aunts, (from left to right Aunts Marjorie...Millie ...Elizabeth...and Ethel). The photo was taken at their First paying job as a All Girl Band at the Parker House. She went on about the songs they played and so on. I said they must have sounded great back then...Oh yes she said ,they were good...but they were much better when my Aunt Lillian was alive...hows that I said? Well, she could bring down the house with her SAX...she died two days before the photo was taken.....Hello?...... Hello?.......Hello?..........origional here.http://www.worth1000.com/web/media/3790/ghost1a.jpg
