Thank you. How did you do that?
It's getting cold in the desert (kinda.) Not enough to turn on the house furnace, but our pup Kelsey sure snoozed well next to this little heater the other evening! :)
Pumpkins.Spooky Tree...
Owl...
Those are really good...did you carve them?
northman saidI drew a small crowd with my camera. I tried to ignore them and set up the camera, but when I heard two couples from England wondering loudly about the camera, I had to visit with them. :)
You should have turned to them and said "Good morning, the names Talbot, Fox Talbot".Sounds like you had a good trip anyway. It's a pity that a computer display cannot demonstrate just how awesome large wall prints from LF cameras can be. I know a gallery in Keswick that does 8x10 contacts of Lake District scenes and it really is mind blowing, like looking out of a window!
Haha...(had to look that name up.)I was able to stop at Tom Till's studio in Moab and view some of his work. I believe he is native to the area there and has a prolific amount of LF photos out there.
We always cheat and download printable templates off the web, tape them on and prick around then carve along the dotted line !
I had a beautiful red-headed model today:
Oh, Marian, is she yours? She's just so beautiful! There's something extra special about those charming freckles!
Here's a 10-second exposure of my front door tonight. Happy Halloween!
One from inside my local church. It was open to photographers as part of the excellent "Open House London" weekend a couple of weeks ago. Wonderful 19th Century Gothic revival style...
How about a nice little wide-angle autumn leaf?
that's really beautiful. i love the colors and the texture. did you know that some conifer seeds only sprout after being exposed to extreme heat such as a fire? Nature's "just in case".
Our unseasonably warm weather has brought us an extra generation of wasps and ladybugs!
Really early in a local gravel pit...
Blackheath fireworks display last night. My 5th year there and definitely some of my best shots so far! Here's a couple of my favourites so far...
I love the second one. The fireworks just doesn't look like it usually does, but that's what's neat.
Nice fireworks Craig.I shot this Friday night.
Oooops!! I will resize that as soon as it will let me.
Hey everyone! I'm still alive, have my sight and I'm settling in quite well in the America, I have a job now and should be in my new house in December.Oh, and I got a car, here's a picture I took of it today :-)
I still lurk a bit, (the pics in this thread continue to be awesome,) but my job and life is keeping me too busy to shoot much at the moment.
I was wondering about how you were getting on as haven't seen you around here. Glad things are going well. (Nice car)
Wow!! a Z car!! Good to hear from you. :-)
