So do I, it's not mine!
LCStar Eyes, I like that portrait and one of things I like is the crop, off to one side and with the shoulder. Please ignore ufos :P

Oww, that's a shame. Now that you tried it, you know you need it... parents:

I like the button too ;)and yes it is a self portrait, it was more an exercise in retouching, the original is **completely** different lol. (no i'm not posting it :p)

While we have Eagles and Robins I might as well throw my hat in the twitch ring. The Red Tailed Black Cockatoo:

Wow, pic #3 is awesome!
I have got some good winter shots, this didn't work out and yet there is something I like about it all the same. Won't be using in a contest (what contest!) of course, so lets show it here:
I've never done a real portrait shoot before until today (with a stranger to boot! ) Didn't really know what I was doing and didn't have the proper equipment, but the 2 hours I had with Natasha were precious. She had also never modeled before.. so we were both noobies! Took tons of pictures and have only post-processed a few, but I thought you'd like to share in my fun!

Wow, Eury, for someone who claims not to know what you are doing, you sure do look like you know what you are doing! Nice work all round, and I am sure she loves them! You made her look great!Love the third full-frame closeup one!K.

They look great. Looks like you used 3 lights on some of them? I think you will do very well at this.
Love your shot of the Long Tailed Tit cycoze.

Thank you, they look great in the winter, feathers and colours always looking good.I have now spotted how to type Tit without the filter changing it to crackers or having to put periods in there, so double Thanks :)
Night before last, all the nearby dogs were going crazy. In the morning, they still were. My hubby brought me to the kitchen window to see why.
It was just before full daylight and I couldn't get them to look at me, since there was a dog at the foot of the tree, very proud of themselves. By full daylight, they had moved on. They were not happy to be there, but the dogs were very excited. I tweaked it in Curves as much as I dared.
I shot pictures of my students laying on the floor of a church today. We had a bomb threat and had to evacuate the school for 3 hours. I was teaching a photo class and took my camera with me. I have not downloaded the pics yet. The students were laying on the floor all over the sanctuary. Some were crying, most were bored. The pictures will not be seen on Worth but they were worth taking. The dogs found a device. Would have made a lot of kids sick if that would have gone off. Kind of sucks huh?

You're welcome. Just don't abuse that knowledge. ;)
This visitor in the garden is a lace monitor or plain old goanna.
Hey cool! You sure got some nice close pictures! The experiences I've had with goannas, you sure smell them before you see them, was that the case here?I was lucky enough to get a photo op with a Kangaroo who's not quite yet ready to let her joey upon the big bad world today. Very excitement!

Craparrino - how can distracted treed pre-dawn coons compete with a mama marsupial and her pouched preteen?why even try....
I set myself a little challenge this morning. Rather than just walking up to the local library, I'd do it with the camera and see what I could see. Made a nice change, forcing myself to look for details in places I take for granted...St John's church at the top of my road[Photos must be 75K or lessThe rather run down looking hotel on Church Street
