Is this going to be a permanent extension?
No just for the contests that are in voting today. You'll get one more day to cast your vote if you tried earlier but couldn't.
The contests pages are down for a few hours now. Nobody that I know can vote or enter anything.
I tried to vote this morning and tonight again after work. It keeps failing. Will today's ending contests be extended in voting as well?

Why has the voting for the "Green" photography contest started now? Yesterday and still two hours ago it sayed, that it starts in 17 hours (Friday night).I wanted to change my picture. I didn't do it yesterday, because it sayed I still have time!I'm not happy.
praise to all who worked hard to get things up and running again... and props for extending voting and submission deadlines... but, i am going just a little bonkers waiting longer to see how bad i rank in some of these contests..lol ;)
