The Monthly Sketch Group!Last month's sketch group thread saw a ton of quality sketches. I was totally impressed by the awesome variety. And good on all of you that put yourselves out there. Nice to have an artistically captured keepsake of yourself, done by yourself. Doxtar 'the elephant' earned the most love from all of us heart clickers. Way to go doxtar! As a result, he has offered up a theme for our next month - which starts... now! :)The theme for February is 'AQUATIC LIFE'. In fact, doxtar asked for 'FISHES', but I'm going to push it a little to include other wet and slimy creatures. (I hope you don't mind doxtar.) So do a fish and make doxtar smile. Or do any aquatic creature that excites you. Have fun with it. Post your sketches here in this thread. Heart the sketches you like. The sketcher that creates the most 'hearted' image will be given the opportunity to choose next months theme.
I will start it off then.......Some know that i'm a keen koi carp person, i have 8 at the moment the oldest being 15 years young ! i had her from a "tiddler". Now she measures 29 inches.I made my own pond, it's 5ft deep and fills most of my garden.Sorry i'm getting boring !I started this in Illustrator....
And got this far in Photoshop after one hour.
Thanks doxtar for the great theme :-)[Edited by User on 2/1/2012 6:25:13 PM]

I liked the first already but this one is even better. I did like the pose of the first fish some more. Gave it more movement.
